  • Field Day is coming up.... Friday May 18! We will be needing tons of Parent volunteers as usual to make this a success. Each Class has specific duties that we need to get covered; PLEASE let your 'Class Parent' know what you can do to pitch in as soon as possible so we can get it all covered. Thanks in advance to Ann Porterfield-Ortiz for coordinating this huge event!

    Booth One-Way News

    The Board continues to ask for everyone's cooperation in voluntary one-way traffic flow during drop-off and pick-up times in front of the school for everyone's safety and to ease the congestion on our narrow streets. Lets get the school year started SAFELY!

    We are hopeful that people will change their routes voluntarily, and make the short detour up to Buena Vista if need be rather than entering from Don Gaspar. It would really help if we could ALL treat Booth as a one-way from East (Webber) to West (Don Gaspar)...

    online news from Ms. Conley and the Band Director's Music/Band Room, Ted's PE Corner , Ms. Mary Olson's Art , and Ms. Granzow in the Library are now online in the 'classroom' list. You can subscribe for auto-email notification when they add news by using the 'Change Detection' button on the left side of the screen.

    We have added a section for Special Ed and Occupational Therapy Staff... and will be adding information about how it works if your child needs help or testing.

    FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK:


    Student Council officers for 2012-13 are President - Adrian Balderamos; Vice-President - Sofia Ortiz; Secretary - Alexandra Poe; Treasurer - Eric Romero.

    The Talent Shows are scheduled for Thursday, May 17. The first one will be at 8:45 a.m. and the second show will be at 1:00 p.m.

    Field Day will be Friday, May 18. We need lots of parents to volunteer for this event.

    The Sixth Grade Social is scheduled for Friday, May 18 at 6:30 p.m.

    Sixth Grade Promotion will be Tuesday, May 22 at 10:00 a.m.

    The last day of school will be Tuesday, May 22. Students will be dismissed at 11:00 and lunch WILL NOT be served.
